By Car

Exit the M5 at junction 27, and take the A361 towards Tiverton and Barnstaple. If driving directly to the Cedars, you do not need to enter Barnstaple town. Instead follow signs to Bickington, via the A3125. The entrance to the Cedars can be found on a roundabout on Bickington Road. The Cedars has parking space for 100 cars.

You can expect the journey to take about 2 hours from Bristol, 4 to 5 hours from London and 5 to 6 hours from Manchester. This obviously depends on road congestion.

If travelling from the south or south-east, be aware that slow moving traffic is common on the A303, especially around Stonehenge (potentially adding an hour onto your journey time).

By Train
